Barbara J. “Jodi” Collins, 66, of Loves Park, IL, was called home Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in her home. Born September 17, 1956, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Leonard E. and Barbara I. (Jones) Collins. Attended Harlem High School. Jodi loved owls, collecting statues and pictures. She loved playing dice, cards, and games. Survivors include her mother, Barbara Whelchel; granddaughter, Destiny Worley and her mother, Crystal; sisters, Gloria Ralston, Lisa LaBore, Charlotte Bishop, and Becky Sharp; brothers, Randy Whelchel, Bradley Whelchel, and John Collins; nieces and nephews, Kevin Ralston, Christi Collins, Allister Ralston, Amber Ralston, Chandlor Ralston, Shawn Vallance, and Brianna Tomlinson; great-nephews, Ian Williams, Elijah Stewart, and Rowan Tomlinson; great-niece, Skyler Ralston; special friend, Carl Tvedt. Predeceased by her father, Leonard Collins; stepfather, Clinton Whelchel; son, Randy Worley; brothers, Leonard, and David Collins; nephew, Ken Ralston; brother-in-law, Dennis Ralston.

Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
