Barbara Campbell

July 6, 1941 — April 6, 2021

Barbara Louise Campbell, 79, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in her home.  Born July 6, 1941, in Rockford, the daughter of Donald A. and Beverle J. (Raymond) Troller.  Married Douglas J. Campbell on August 11, 1960, in Loves Park.  Barbara was patient, deeply faithful, loved music, nature, and reading.  She was a mother and friend to everyone.  Barbara was always around to listen and put everyone else’s needs before her own.  She was an avid Cubs fan.  Longtime attendee and supporter of the Rockford Symphony Orchestra.  Survivors include her children, Eric (Peggy) Campbell, Greg (Kim) Campbell, Gordy (Sandy) Campbell, and Susan (Eric) Vaughn; grandchildren, Jacob, Kayleigh, Matthew, Samantha, and Rory; great-grandchildren, Russell, Tanner, Ruby, and Arolyn; siblings, Ronald (Christine) Troller, Karen Swinney, and Wendy (Mike) Hamilton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Barb Olson, Connie Pratt, and Janet Pearson.  Predeceased by her parents and husband.  Special thanks to Heartland Hospice, RN Natalie, CNA Stephanie, and NP Stephanie.

Memorial service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with walk through visitation from 4 p.m. to service time.  Face coverings and social distancing required.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Heartland Hospice.
