Arlene M. Stultz, 92, of Rockford passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, in Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Born December 24, 1929, in Brodhead, Wisconsin, the daughter of Marion and Marian (Harper) Leng. Graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a degree in education. Arlene taught one year in a one room schoolhouse at Davis School near Juda, Wisconsin. She taught for 38 years at the Consolidated Harlem School District, retiring in 1988. Married Robert “Bob” E. Stultz on June 6, 1959, in Loves Park. Member of Roscoe Community Church, Spring Valley 4-H, and Boots & Saddle in Green County, Wisconsin. Arlene enjoyed square dancing, trips to their summer home in Wisconsin, and traveling several times to Europe. Survivors include her daughter, Christine Johnson of Loves Park; numerous nieces and nephews; and grand puppies, Misty and Mya. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Bob; son-in-law, James R. Johnson; and infant son, Thomas Lee. The family wishes to thank Bill and Debbie Dorr, Sharon Carr and the Health Center staff at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center.
