Arlene M. Parks, 94, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1930, in Rockford, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Girshick) Baldinger. Arlene married Robert “Bob” D. Parks on January 30, 1949, in Rockford. She graduated from West High School and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Arlene enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with family. Survivors include her son, Bruce (Emily Hathaway) Parks; grandchildren, Julie Parks, and Paul (Aquila Pinnix) Parks; great-grandchildren, Emerson Veile, and Lauriana Lewis; and cousins, Kathleen Walker and Donna Hagemann. Predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Ted A. Parks; and brother, Eddie. The family wishes to thank the staff at Alpine Fireside and Heartland Hospice for their love and compassion.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, followed by a graveside service at Scandinavian Cemetery, 1700 Rural Street, Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church.
