Antoinette M. Lamia, 101, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born October 6, 1922, in Rockford, the daughter of Salvatore and Michela (Marino) Donze. She married Anthony “Tony” Lamia on December 17, 1941, in Rockford. Member of St. Anthony of Padum Church. Antoinette enjoyed reading, books, puzzles, and family games. Survivors include her son, Tony Lamia, Jr.; daughter, Cathy Sundberg; grandchildren, Tom (Louella) Chostner, Terry (Eileen) Chostner, and Tonya Lamia; three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Jerry Lamia; and 8 siblings.
Service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
