Anthony “Tony” E. Vespa, 61, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in his home. Born on Saturday, July 18, 1964, in Rockford, IL, the son of Edward R. and Barbara A. (Brewer) Vespa. He married Mary Anderson on September 18, 1982, in Rockford, IL. Employed by Local 23 as a plumber. Tony enjoyed music, fishing, and especially spending time with family. Survivors include his wife, Mary; his children, Mike (Dawn) Vespa, Danielle (Todd) Shiparski, and Jamie (Adam) Simons; grandchildren, Jaiden Shiparski, Brody Adamson, Alex Vespa, Jaxon Simons, and Ezra Simons. Predeceased by his parents and a sister.
