Annie F. Whittemore, 83, of Rockford, IL, went home Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Javon Bea Hospital. Born May 13, 1941, in Stanton, IL, the daughter of William and Maggie (Swain) Reynolds. She married Lonnie Whittemore, Jr., on July 29, 1956, in Hernando, MS. Annie enjoyed being a nanny to numerous small children and being a companion for the elderly. She was a Betty Boop fan, an avid watcher of Westerns, and also loved watching the Young and the Restless. Survivors include her daughters, Laurie Wilson, Kathryn (Robert) Evans, Jammie Whittemore; and son, Michael Whittemore; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Lonnie; son, Lonnie James “Wheet” Whittemore; son-in-law, David Mahnke; and sister, Patricia Gilbertson. Special mention to Debbie (Pete) Collins.
