Annie M. King, 89, of Roscoe, IL, was called home Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Born November 22, 1934, in Greenwood, MS, the daughter of Monroe and Natherlee Wilson. She married Clyde King in 1961, in Greenwood. Annie enjoyed gardening, reading, music, air shows, and the studying of spirituality. She took pride in spending time with her children. Annie’s greatest joy in life was caring and nurturing her family. Survivors include her children, Henry Wilson, Mae (Rickey) Fantroy, Carol (Aubrey) Chatters, and Clyde (Diane) King, Jr.; grandchildren, Sandra Taylor, Henry Taylor, Tim Wilson, Alicia Delacruz, Nicki Neal, Ebony Frometa, Bianca Westcott, Jasmine Fantroy, Trey Chatters, Chandler Chatters, Chelsey Chatters, Razelle King, Demyah King, Daria King, and Dion King; several great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmie Dale Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; daughter, Eloise Wilson; and son, Carlos Wilson.
Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
