Anna Winger, 96, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Alpine Fireside Health Center. Born February 12, 1928, in Maryville, IN, the daughter of Klaas and Jenny (Deyoung) Meyer. She married Paul E. Winger on November 12, 1946, in DeMotte, IN. Survivors include her daughters, Janice (Robert) Givens, Margie (Dale) Austin, and Karen (Jim) Read; daughter-in-law, June Winger; grandchildren, Robert (Carrie) Givens, Rebecca Anson, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Austin, Steven (Julieanne) Austin, Michael (Treasure) Winger, Corina Chavez, Jessica (Don) Roklfs, Dianna Read, Alex Read, Adrianna Vigil, Abrenae Vigil, Josiah Gonzales, and Jeremiah Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Tori Austin, Logan Austin, Emma Givens, Paige Givens, Alex Anson, Brandy Chavez, Amiah Chavez, Emerald Chavez, Camber Roklfs, and Kamari Montmayer; sister, Margaret Swart. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sons, Charles Winger and Paul Winger; granddaughter, Stephanie Winger; grandson-in-law, David Chavez.
