Anna “Anne” Marie Isabelli

Anna “Anne” Marie Isabelli, 94, a lifelong Rockford, IL, area resident, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022. She was born August 9, 1928, in Rockford, the daughter of Raymond A. and Lily (Boline) Carlson. She graduated from East High School, Class of 1946, and Augustana College, Class of 1950. She married Frank A. Isabelli, Sr., on April 24, 1954, in Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Active member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Following the passing of her husband after 30 years of marriage, she enjoyed many activities with her lady friends. Those activities included: traveling; both in the U.S. and overseas; gardening, reading, knitting; especially making mittens to support one of the missions at her church; quilting, playing cards with her lady friends in her card club, golfing in the Ingersol Women’s 9-Hole League, and baking; especially Christmas cookies, including her Pepparkakor cookies which she started baking in October and her wonderful chocolate chunk cookies. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark A. (Janine J. LeBel) Isabelli of Brevard, NC; brother-in-law, Rollin Greenland; cousin, Peter (Ann) Boline; nephews, David (Cleo) Greenland, Chuck (Katie) Greenland, John (Terri) Greenland, and Paul (Tracy) Greenland. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Frank on March 18, 1985; son, Frank A. Isabelli, Jr., on March 20, 1995; and sisters, Barbara Greenland and Harriet Carlson.

Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
