Ann Julie Moctezuma, 70, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Born January 15, 1952, in Rockford, the daughter of Carl and Grayce (Boden) Sundly. Married Jamie Moctezuma. Ann was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid crocheter making numerous items for family, friends, and staff at River Bluff Nursing Home. Ann was a very positive person, strong willed, funny, and sassy. Survivors include her children, Marisa (Edgar) Marin, Luke (Holly) Ortega, and Amanda Ortega; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Doris) Sundly and Jim Sundly; nieces, Kari Sundly and Dawn Elmer; nephew, Bryan Sundly; and many loving friends. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sisters, Donna and Carlyce; and faithful canine companion, Chico. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at River Bluff Nursing Home.
Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
