Ann Kopfman

Ann Kopfman, 80, of Belvidere, formerly of Chicago passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018. Born May 17, 1938, in Evergreen Park, daughter of Charles and Bernice (Trigas) Bortkun. Ann was very optimistic, strong in her faith and always positive. She was a lover of animals, especially moose and according to her son, Steve, a superior fisherman. Above all, her family came first. We will miss her so much. Survivors include her loving husband, Edward; sons, Steven R. (Sandra) Kopfman and Kenneth M. (Judy) Kopfman; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew, Drew and Julia Kopfman, Austin and Josh Karpinski; brother, Charles (Liz) Bortkun. Predeceased by her son, Edward D. Kopfman and parents.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday August 29, 2018, in St. James Catholic Church, 402 Church Street, Belvidere, IL. Visitation from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. Graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018, in Fairmount-Willows Hill Memorial Park, 9100 Archer Ave., Willow Springs, IL. Cemetery is located 2 miles South of I-294 on Archer Ave.
