Andrew "Andy" Hodges

Andrew “Andy” D. Hodges, 81, of Machesney Park was called home Monday, September 11, 2017, in his home. Born April 16, 1936, in Whelen Springs, AR, the son of David J. and Ruby L. (Cates) Hodges.  Married Lelia M. Booker on September 15, 1956, in Camden, AR.  Member of Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.  Andy loved playing the guitar and singing at church.  Survivors include his wife, Lelia; children, David Hodges of East Chester, NY, Lisa Hodges of Loves Park and John (Cindy) Hodges of Roscoe; grandchildren, David Doyle, Jr., Joseph Doyle, Courtney Hodges, Matthew Jones and Carter Hodges; brother, Melvin (Judy) Hodges.  Predeceased by two sisters; four brothers; daughter-in-law, Lisa Hodges.  The family wishes to thank Mercy Health Hospice and Dr. Caceres for their loving care.

Service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 16, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
