Andrew Hauser

Andrew A. “Andy” Hauser, 81, of Cherry Valley passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017.  Born August 8, 1935, in Rockford, the son of Arthur and Theresa (Fuchs) Hauser.  Married Donna Shaw on June 30, 1956, in Rockford.  Employed by Rockford Drill Head for 45 years.  He formerly ran Ingersoll Golf Courses kitchen and pro-shop for several years.  Member of St. Edward Catholic Church.  He was a Mason and member of Tebala Shrine.  A great joy of Andy’s was playing accordion in the Alamo’s Band.  He was a licensed private pilot.  Andy enjoyed fishing and hunting, but mostly he loved his family and his time with the grandchildren.  Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Donna; daughter, Debbie (Phil) Fredenburg; sons, Rick Hauser and Kurt (Deb) Hauser; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Joni Hutson; several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents; and infant brother, Larry Hauser.

Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  Visitation from 10 a.m. to service time with Masonic service at 9:45 a.m.  Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
