Anastasia Sterzer, 97, of Loves Park died Thursday, October 20, 2016, in Bridgeway Senior Living, Bensenville. Born March 14, 1919, in Russia, the daughter of Philip and Natalie Wioloschin. Married Johann Sterzer on October 25, 1939, in Russia. She and her husband sponsored numerous families migrating from Germany. Survivors include her son, Heinz (Iva) Buehner; grandchildren, Nadya, Dino, Sharla and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Payton, Mark, Matthew, Jason and Shannon; great-great-grandchildren, C.J., Samantha, Alex, Linda, Kennedy, Charlie and Ashlynn. Predeceased by her husband.
Service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 24, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
