Alice M. Chambers, 81, of Loves Park was called home Monday, January 4, 2016. She was born February 12, 1934, in Loves Park, the daughter of Henry and Grace(Teachout) Easton. Employed as a bus driver for the Harlem School District. Alice loved butterflies, spending time with family and going out to eat. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (Glen) Robins; son, Rodney Chambers; grandchildren, Corey (fiancée, Ashley Hieronimus) Werntz, Shannon (Ashley Mayton) Werntz,Ashlee (Kevin Olson, Jr.) Werntz, Tracy Kitto and Kurt (Robin) Chambers; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hope Kitto, Koby, Kyle and Addison Werntz, Hunter and Grayson Speer and Addison Chambers; brothers, Howard Easton and Richard (Barb) Easton; sisters, Eloise Jeardeau and Eleanor (Ed) Vaher; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Roger Fleming; and brothers, Robert, Donald and Gilbert Easton. The family wishes to thank Hospice Care of America for their special care. We love you, Mema!
Service at 10:30a.m. Saturday, January 9, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 8, in the funeral home.
