Aldino “Doc” DiGiuseppi, 80, of Machesney Park died Sunday, June 26, 2016, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born October 11, 1935, in Rockford, the son of Dominic and Concetta (Bautti) DiGiuseppi. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Married Mary Ann Zin on November 24, 1991. Owner of several bars and restaurants in the area and also owned Special Fabrication. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church, Lombardi Club and Tebala Shrine. Survivors include wife, Mary Ann; his children, Karen (Allen) Ottens, Kristine (Robert) Stillman, Kathleen DiGiuseppi, Dino (Tina) DiGiuesppe, A’Lisa Barron, Tracey Krasauskas and Peter (Joni) Krasauskas; grandchildren, Mike, Melissa, Jenny, Mary, Chrissy, Brent, Timmy, Domonic, Nicholas, Cristal, Joseph, Brandon, Alex, Shaun, Nicole and Dustin; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Harry (Grace) DiGiuseppi; numerous nieces and nephews; special pets, Izzy and Truman. Predeceased by his parents and special friend, Jack Palmeri.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
